John 13:35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.
As we approach this Christmas season, let’s remember to spread the love of Christ for He is the true reason for the season. For some, the holidays may be a wonderful time, but for others, it may be a lonely and depressing time of the year. This Christmas, why don’t each of us try to spread the love of Christ by reaching people who may feel lonely, abandoned, and/or forgotten. Let’s encourage them by reminding or sharing with them how much God loves and cares for them.
If you belong to a local church, check to see if your congregation has ministry outreaches to help those in need during the holiday season. We may not be able to reach the whole world, but we can reach one person at a time. Spread the love of Christ by reaching those who are less fortunate than you. Pray for divine opportunities and ask the Lord to show you how to graciously spread His love to those in need. And possibly, share the Gospel message. The Lord is Faithful!
Matthew 25:37-40 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
