Psalm 145:2-3 I will praise You every day; I will honor Your name forever and ever. Yahweh is great and is highly praised; His greatness is unsearchable.
PRAISE the Lord, for He is good. –Psalm 118:1
PRAISE the Lord, for His steadfast love endures forever. –Psalm 106:1
PRAISE the Lord, for He is worthy of all our praise. –Revelation 4:11
The Bible says in Philippians 4:4, “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!” In other words, offer up a continual praise to God!
But sometimes, it’s hard to praise God in the midst of a difficulty or when things are not going well. Instead, you find yourself more focused on your problems rather than on the goodness of God. As challenging as it may be, we need to learn how to prayerfully redirect our thoughts back on the Lord. Personally, I’ve learned that when I choose to praise God instead of fretting over my issues, the Lord gently lifts those burdens off of my shoulders. And He replaces my discouragement with His peace. When you and I make the choice to praise God, we glorify Him and not our problems.
God is not insensitive nor is He uncompassionate. He’s a God of love and when we are hurting, He is Faithful to comfort our hurting hearts. It doesn’t mean praise the Lord when a loved one passes on, but rather praise the Lord, for He is good (Psalm 118:1). He knows how much you and I will need Him and His loving comfort when the unexpected happens. The Lord loves each and every one of us and He will be Faithful to walk us and even carry us through all of life’s storms. He’s a loving Father and as our Good Shepherd, He will never leave nor forsake us.
Psalm 23:4 declares a promise, “Even when I go through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff-they comfort me.”
Knowing this promise makes my heart rejoice and it encourages me to sing praises to our Lord. I’m not alone, for my Savior is with me. Hebrews 13:5b says, “I will never leave you or forsake you.” (Holman Translation)
In this, I will praise the Lord. For He is worthy of all my praise. Ladies, I encourage you all to sing praises to our King. For He is worthy of all your praise. Often times, we rejoice when things are going well, but we also need to learn how to dance in the rain too. We need to praise God regardless of our circumstances and remember that all things are working together for our good. Praise Him!
Isaiah 6:3 “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Hosts; His glory fills the earth.”
Psalm 147:1 Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful.
