Matthew 28:6a He is not here; for He is risen, as He said.
Today, we celebrate Christ’s resurrection. Jesus, our Savior, was born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, He willingly went to the cross, He suffered, He was crucified, He died, was buried, and He rose again on the third day. Jesus demonstrated a life of complete obedience when He submitted Himself to His Father in doing His will which included going to the cross on our behalf. He was obedient unto death. Jesus endured, because of His great love for us. He took the punishment for our sins, so you and I can have eternal life. As you celebrate this Easter Sunday, please take a moment to reflect on your Blessed Savior, Christ the Risen King. Ponder today and everyday on His deep and abiding love for you, His greatness, His faithfulness, His gentleness, His goodness, His mercy, and His compassion. Jesus loves you with an everlasting love.
John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
Matthew 20:19b And the third day He will rise again.
