Hi Beautiful Ladies, 😘❤️
Happy September! Wow, the first day of Fall is right around the corner!🍁It’s almost time to bring out our Fall wardrobe of sweaters, scarves, and leggings while switching out our summer drinks for delicious tasting pumpkin spice lattes.
It’s that time again for our monthly prayer to be God’s Woman – one who is always Focused, Determined, Persevering, and Never Giving Up. We will pray for the two qualities listed below. 2️⃣1️⃣ is our monthly theme since it’s the year 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣1️⃣. You have the option to choose a time that works best for you. In order to stick with the 2️⃣1️⃣st theme, please choose a timeframe such as 7:2️⃣1️⃣am, 8:2️⃣1️⃣am, 10:2️⃣1️⃣am, 12:2️⃣1️⃣pm, 2:2️⃣1️⃣pm, 5:2️⃣1️⃣pm, 7:2️⃣1️⃣pm, 9:2️⃣1️⃣pm, and so forth. These are just examples. For the length of time, please allow the Holy Spirit to guide you as you pray to God and seek Him.
Today, we will pray for Qualities 14 and 15:
Quality #14: Remain focused on Jesus and be determined to always keep Him first place in all areas of your life.
Matthew 6:33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Ladies, I encourage you all to keep Jesus first place in every single area of your life. This encompasses all your relationships, your marriage, your children, your ministries, your job, your possessions, your hobbies, your recreational activities, and whatever else you may be involved in. We live in a busy world and it’s so easy to get sidetracked or become consumed with daily activities that we push aside our quality time with Jesus in order to meet the demands of the day. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in a relationship, hobby, activity, or we are so career driven that we tend to put Jesus on the back burner and make these things our first priority instead of Him. Now, there is nothing wrong with having a relationship, being married, having a favorite hobby, or wanting to excel at your job. But when you make these things your main priority and exclude Jesus, idolatry is in full swing. Jesus should always be your First Love!
Exodus 20:3 says, “You shall have no other gods before Me.”
Ladies, I encourage you to include Jesus in every area of your life and keep Him first. Love Him more than you love your spouse or the man whom you are courting, your children, your career, your ministries, your hobbies, your recreational activities, and so forth. Spend quality time with Jesus everyday by diligently reading His Word, earnestly praying, and seeking His will for your life and not your own. Include Him in all your friendships, relationship and/or marriage – ask Him, “Lord how can my friendships, relationship and/or marriage bring glory to Your name?” If you have kids, ask God, “How can I be a godly example to my children?” “Lord please give me Your wisdom to raise my kids in Your ways.” If you are involved in ministry, ask Jesus, “How can I serve, exhort, and build up the body of Christ?” If you are currently working or involved in any recreational activities, ask the Lord, “How can you be a shining light and faithful witness to your colleagues, the management team, and those around you?” For recreational activities that may fall on a Sunday, do your best to plan or attend them after church service. Make it a priority to go to God’s house first, worship and serve Him. Regarding your job, you may have no control over your work hours which is understandable. You may be scheduled to work on Sundays. In this case, I encourage you to choose another day for church attendance. Some churches have mid week services. Do your best to attend on another day if you are scheduled to work on Sundays and make it your priority. These are just a few examples on how to keep the Lord first.
Ladies, always include the Lord in every aspect of your life and you will grow in your relationship with Him while seeing Him do great and mighty things in and through you. Keep Him first!
Matthew 6:33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Matthew 22:37 And He said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.”
Quality #15: Be determined to always set your mind to seek the wisdom of God in all your circumstances.
James 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
Ladies, set your mind to always seek the wisdom of God and not the wisdom of this world in all your situations. We live in an ever-changing world and it’s so easy to go with the flow and follow what everyone else is doing. Thank God for our Savior Jesus, Who is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He never changes! Romans 12:2 tells us “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” As you set your heart and mind to diligently seek the wisdom of God, and follow His lead, you will be persecuted, mocked, slandered, and receive backlash. I encourage you dear sister to stand firm in the Lord, cling tightly to Him, and pray for the Lord to give you His strength not to give in, but to hold fast and trust completely in Him. Remember what the Word of the Lord says in Isaiah 55:8-9 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.” God may ask you to do something or go in a different direction than what our culture believes. Your own family, friends, and other believers may disagree or come against you, but it’s highly important for you and I to follow God’s leading regardless of what other people may think, say, or do. God is our Commander In Chief and we are to follow His marching orders. We can rest assure knowing and believing that Jesus will never lead us astray and He will never leave nor forsake us. At times, we may experience a sense of uncertainty, but there is no need to fear for the Lord is on our side and He will help us and carry us through. Personally, I meditate on Isaiah 41:10 when I’m feeling afraid or unsure. The verse says, “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” If you decide to choose this verse or maybe God will give you other verses, pray and meditate on them. When you do, He will give you His peace and strength as well as the boldness to move forward.
Ladies, diligently seek the wisdom of God in all your circumstances, heed His voice, and follow Him wholeheartedly (not your feelings or other people). The Lord will reward you and you will reap the blessings of walking in full obedience to Him.
Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
Proverbs 4:4-13 Then he taught me and said to me, “Let your heart hold fast my words; keep my commandments and live; acquire wisdom! Acquire understanding! Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth. Do not forsake her, and she will guard you; love her, and she will watch over you. The beginning of wisdom is: acquire wisdom; and with all your acquiring, get understanding. Prize her, and she will exalt you; she will honor you if you embrace her. She will place on your head a garland of grace; she will present you with a crown of beauty.” Hear, my son, and accept my sayings and the years of your life will be many. I have directed you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in upright paths. When you walk, your steps will not be impeded; and if you run, you will not stumble. Take hold of instruction; do not let go. Guard her, for she is your life.
Psalm 25:4-5 Make me know Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for You I wait all the day.
As always, keeping you lovely ladies in my prayers! 🙏🏽💗Blessings to each and everyone of you! Please check back on 10/2️⃣1️⃣/2️⃣1️⃣ for the next set of qualities.
