Hi Beauties, ❤️😘
Happy Sunday! Today is the 2️⃣1️⃣st day of March, our second month of prayer to be God’s Woman, one who is always Focused, Determined, Persevering, and Never Giving Up! 2️⃣1️⃣ is our theme since it’s the year 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣1️⃣. We will pray on the 2️⃣1️⃣st day of each month for 2️⃣1️⃣ qualities over the next ten months. Please choose a designated time that works best for you. In order to stick with the 2️⃣1️⃣st theme, please choose a timeframe such as 5:2️⃣1️⃣am, 7:2️⃣1️⃣am, 9:2️⃣1️⃣am, 10:2️⃣1️⃣am, 12:2️⃣1️⃣pm, 2:2️⃣1️⃣pm, 3:2️⃣1️⃣pm, 5:2️⃣1️⃣pm, 7:2️⃣1️⃣pm, 10:2️⃣1️⃣pm, and so forth. For the length of time, please allow the Holy Spirit to guide you as you pray to God and seek Him.
Today, we will pray for qualities 3 and 4 listed below:
Quality #3: Be Determined to honor God with all your finances and/or your time.
Proverbs 3:9 Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase.
Ladies, I want to be very sensitive to all of you regarding this quality. Some of you may not have steady income or you may be currently unemployed. My prayer is that the Lord will always provide for all of your needs and take care of you and your household. The Lord desires for each of us to give Him the very best in some way shape or form. Ladies if you are employed, please honor God with your finances and cheerfully give to Him a tenth (which is the biblical standard) of your income. If you are led to give an additional offering or exceed the 10% standard, please do so cheerfully. God loves a cheerful giver. All of your tithes and offerings should go to your home church. Some of you may be in a financial bind and feel that you can’t afford to give 10%. If this is the case, go to the Lord privately in prayer, and seek Him. Whatever He lays on your heart to give, honor God with that amount. The key is to start somewhere and give faithfully. Before making my rededication to Christ, I would give when I felt like it and I really couldn’t bring myself to give 10% due to selfishness of heart. Also, I couldn’t afford to give at the time due to poor financial decisions that were made. Once I rededicated my life to Christ, I began to give the little I had on a consistent basis. And the Lord blessed it! Remember the widow in Mark 12:42, she gave two mites (a very small percentage). She trusted God with her money and He honored her for it. So I encourage you all to trust God with your finances and give to Him what you have. Be faithful in the little, and He will entrust you with more. If He blesses you with a pay increase and you are able to give 10% which is the biblical standard or more, cheerfully and obediently give to the Lord. If you make $100.00, $10.00 is 10%. If you make$250.00, $25.00 is 10%. If you make a $1,000.00, $100.00 is 10%. If you make $5,000.00, $500.00 is 10%. And so forth.
If you are not working and have some time to spare, give God your very best by volunteering your time at your local church and serve Him and His people well. If you do not have transportation or if you are physically disabled, give God your very best by becoming a prayer warrior. Pray fervently for your family, your friends, your church family, our nation, our government, the President, and any other needs the Lord may lay on your heart. Serve Him and His people well!
Be determined to honor the Lord with all the firstfruits of your increase and your time.
Colossians 3:23-24 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.
Malachi 3:10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this, says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.
2 Corinthians 9:7 So let each one give as He purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
Quality #4: Focus your complete devotion on the Lord; worship Him only and do not become engaged in idolatry.
Exodus 34:14 For you shall worship no other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.
Ladies, please be intentional in directing your prayers to God and asking Him to give you a heart that is fully devoted to Him. The more your heart is inclined to Him, the more you will want to worship and serve Him. When we take our eyes off of Him, and look to other things or people for satisfaction, we lose His perspective and fall into idolatry. Please listen carefully beauties: no career, no special hobby, no travel experience, no material possession, no elite membership, no husband, no child, or anything for that matter will bring lasting satisfaction. Only Jesus can! There’s nothing wrong with these things, but if we are looking to them to find our identity, we will always be disappointed. Only the Lord can fill that void in our hearts and give us true contentment. In John 4:13, Jesus told the Samaritan woman who had five husbands, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” If we drink from the wells of this world, we will always thirst and never be completely satisfied. But if we drink from the living waters of Jesus, we will never thirst again because He will quench our thirst.
Sweet ladies, let’s worship the Lord our God and serve Him only. Make the determination to put away any idols and do not become engaged in idolatry. For the Lord our God is a Jealous God and He will not tolerate our affection for any person or thing more than Him.
Psalm 42:1-2 As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God, my soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?
Exodus 20:5a You shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God.
Deuteronomy 6:5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
Keeping you beautiful ladies in my prayers. 🙏🏽❤️ Blessings to each and everyone of you. Please check back on 04/2️⃣1️⃣/2️⃣1️⃣ for the next set of qualities.
