Good Morning and Merry Christmas Beauties, 🎄❤️
I hope that each of you ladies are doing well and have finished all your Christmas shopping. I went to the mall the other day to pick up a couple of gifts and there were lines everywhere. But I was able to get in and out of stores quickly.
Wow, so we are at the end of our 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣1️⃣ Monthly Prayer Challenge. I hope you all were encouraged and your prayer life has been impacted by our time of prayer together. It’s vital to spend time with the Lord everyday by reading His Word and praying according to His perfect will for our lives. Often times, we pray according to what we want or think we should have. But remember the Lord knows Best and we should intercede with an open heart while trusting Him with our situations. He doesn’t always answer “Yes”. Sometimes His answer is “No” and we need to learn to accept His “No’s” as well and stop running to Him with the same request over and over again which He has already given us an answer for. Sometimes He may say “Wait” because it’s not His perfect timing yet. Always pray and ask for discernment. Sometimes we allow our feelings to get in the way because we want something or someone so bad and think that God is saying Yes or Wait, when in actuality, He is saying No. I can relate as I was in a predicament many years ago when I was praying for something to happen when the Lord had already closed the doors to that particular request. But I allowed my feelings to lead me into thinking that God was saying Yes when He had already given me all the signs that His answer was No. Please don’t listen to your feelings or allow them to deceive you into thinking that something will come to pass when God has already shut the doors. If you keep trying to pry the doors open, you are just hurting yourself in the long run. Trust me I know. Instead, please pray for wisdom and discernment and ask the Lord to give you a heart to accept His answers in regards to all of your prayer requests and trust Him on whatever He decides. Remember, He is a Good Good Father and He knows what’s Best for each of His kids.
Today, we will pray for the final two qualities listed below. Please choose a time frame that works best for you. Examples: 7:2️⃣1️⃣am, 8:2️⃣1️⃣am, 10:2️⃣1️⃣am, 12:2️⃣1️⃣pm, 2:2️⃣1️⃣pm, 5:2️⃣1️⃣pm, 7:2️⃣1️⃣pm, 9:2️⃣1️⃣pm, and so forth. Since these are the last set of qualities, let’s pray for a total of 2️⃣1️⃣ minutes covering both of them:
Quality #20: Remain Focused to always love the Lord your God with all of your heart, soul, and strength.
Deuteronomy 6:5 “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.”
I encourage you all to love and remain in love with the Lord. He is and should always be our First Love! Our hearts should be fully and completely devoted to Him. In Deuteronomy 6:5, we are commanded to love and adore Him with all of our being. This means putting and keeping Him first above marriages, children, family, jobs, material possessions, ministries, hobbies, recreational activities, ambitions, goals, and any pursuit in life. Our love for Him needs to far exceed anyone or anything else. He is our Creator, our Savior, our Lord, our Sustainer, our Husband, our Redeemer, our Restorer, our Defender, our Deliverer, our Provider, our Protector, our Rock, our Anchor, our Fortress, and our Living Hope. We are called to deeply love and stay in love with the King of kings and the Lord of lords.
Some of you may desire and are waiting on the Lord to bring you the godly husband that He has handpicked just for you. If so, I encourage you ladies to wait patiently on the Lord, believe Him for the promise, trust His perfect timing, and allow Him to bring you two together. Although God may have someone very special for you, do not idolize your husband to be by placing him before God. Your heart belongs to God First. Your Maker is your Husband (Isaiah 54:5).
On a very important side note, DO NOT marry or get involved with a man who interferes or tries to hinder your relationship with the Lord. A controlling person or toxic relationship is unsafe, unhealthy, abusive, and will always cause grief, deep sorrow, and unnecessary heartache. Do not entertain such company. These men are counterfeits and are not the real deal. This doesn’t just apply to a dating relationship, but any friendship, or anyone or anything for that matter that tries to hinder your walk with the Lord or prevent you from growing in Christ, RUN AWAY as fast as you can without looking back. Such people are not from God! Wait on the Lord, pray for discernment, and trust that God will give you His very Best! Love Him with all of your heart, soul, and strength.
Isaiah 54:5 “For your husband is your Maker, Whose name is the Lord of hosts; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, Who is called the God of all the earth.
Matthew 22:37 And He said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.”
Quality #21: Be determined to keep Jesus at the forefront of your mind not just at Christmas time, but all year long!
Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.
As we are in the holiday season, this last quality is a perfect reminder of Who the real Reason is for the season – Jesus Christ. Because of Him, we move, we live, and have our being. Let’s always keep the Lord at the forefront of our minds not just at Christmas time, but all year long. He’s God in every season! He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Let’s keep our focus and a firm and continual steady gaze on Christ our Savior! He’s the True and Eternal Reason! May He always be our #1 priority in all that we say and do.
Psalm 16:8 Because I set You, Yahweh, always close to me, my confidence will never be weakened, for I experience your wraparound presence every moment.
Acts 17:28 For in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His children.’
