Happy Sunday! Today is the 2️⃣1️⃣st of February! We begin our journey on praying for the Lord to equip each of us to be God’s Woman, one who is always Focused, Determined, Persevering, and Never Giving Up! As I mentioned last week, 2️⃣1️⃣ will be our theme since we are in the year 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣1️⃣. We will pray on the 2️⃣1️⃣st day of each month for 2️⃣1️⃣ qualities over an eleven month period at a designated time that works best for each of us. In order to stick with the 2️⃣1️⃣st theme, please choose a timeframe such as 5:2️⃣1️⃣am, 7:2️⃣1️⃣am, 9:2️⃣1️⃣am, 10:2️⃣1️⃣am, 12:2️⃣1️⃣pm, 2:2️⃣1️⃣pm, 3:2️⃣1️⃣pm, 5:2️⃣1️⃣pm, 7:2️⃣1️⃣pm, 9:2️⃣1️⃣pm, 10:2️⃣1️⃣, 11:2️⃣1️⃣pm, and so forth. For the length of time, please allow the Holy Spirit to guide you as you pray to God and seek Him.

Today, we will pray for qualities 1 and 2 listed below:

Quality #1: Remain Focused to ALWAYS Be A Godly Woman of Integrity!

Proverbs 11:3 The integrity of the upright will guide them, but the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them.

We live in a culture where speaking the truth is condemned. Evil is justified as good while good is considered evil. Ladies, I encourage you to take a bold stand for truth and righteousness. People will dislike and even hate you for it. They will try to tarnish your reputation and shut you up. You may even lose friendships for standing up for righteousness sake. It’s painful, but the Lord will honor you for your integrity. Jesus was hated, persecuted, and put to death because He said, He is the Son of God. In Matthew 26:62-66, it says, And the high priest arose and said to Him, “Do You answer nothing? What is it these men testify against You?” But Jesus kept silent. And the high priest answered and said to Him, “I put You under oath by the living God: Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God!” Jesus said to him, “It is as you said. Nevertheless, I say to you, hereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.” Then the high priest tore his clothes, saying, “He has spoken blasphemy! What further need do we have of witnesses? Look, now you have heard His blasphemy! What do you think?” They answered and said, “He is deserving of death.”

They persecuted and crucified Jesus because He spoke the truth and stood for righteousness sake. We will be persecuted too.

Ladies, it’s better to lose than to compromise! Determine in your heart to always be courageous and remain as a godly woman of integrity. Embrace honesty at all times. Take responsibility for your actions and do not shift the blame to others. We will all give an account for the way we have lived. God honors truth and righteousness.

Proverbs 21:21 He who follows righteousness and mercy finds life, righteousness, and honor.

Psalm 37:3-6 Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.

Quality #2: Always Focus on Maintaining A Heart of Compassion!

Psalm 86:15 But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth.

Ladies, it’s important that we imitate Christ’s heart of compassion to all people especially to those who do not know Him. I know it’s difficult to love the unlovable. But we have to remember, they are lost and don’t realize they are headed down the road to destruction. We need to show them compassion and the Lord is faithful to empower us with His Holy Spirit to do so. Apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5b). Please pray and ask the Lord to give you a heart of compassion to love people through His eyes. Remember, we were once lost too. Be gracious and do your best to extend mercy to others.

Psalm 103:8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.
