I hope that each of you are doing well and safeguarding yourselves by wearing masks and washing your hands on a regular basis to protect yourselves from getting this virus. I will keep all of you in my prayers for God’s faithful protection and provision.🙏🏽 Remain in His Word and stay prayerful! Love you beautiful ladies!❤️

We are entering our third month of this prayer challenge. Today, 0️⃣4️⃣/2️⃣0️⃣/2️⃣0️⃣, we will be lifting up qualities 5 and 6 listed below. As mentioned before, the number 2️⃣0️⃣ will be our theme for this prayer challenge. Please choose a timeframe that works best for you (ex: 7:20am, 9:20am, 12:20pm, 3:20pm, 5:20pm, or 8:20pm). And please pray for 2️⃣0️⃣ minutes for the qualities listed below in regards to your godly husband (if the Lord has given you this promise):

Quality #5: Please pray for the Lord to transform your godly husband of promise into a man who is fully obedient to Christ and His Word!

The Bible speaks of different men and women who were fully obedient to the Lord. The best example of obedience in scripture is Christ Himself. Jesus was fully surrendered and obedient to do the will of His Father. As a young child, He knew the reason why He came to this earth which was to die for the sins of all humanity. In scripture, we see Him address His parents in Luke 2:49: And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?” In another passage, we see Jesus addressing His disciples in John 4:34: Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.” Lastly, He said in Matthew 26:39b, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”

Ladies, it’s really important to pray and ask the Lord to mold and transform your godly husband of promise into a man who is fully obedient to the Lord and His Word. This is what we shall all desire. Please keep in mind that if we choose to marry men who are half hearted in their obedience to the Lord and who do not take their callings/ministries seriously, you and I will suffer the consequences too. If they are not walking like they should, their behavior will create a stumbling block in our walks with Christ. It’s very important that you and I do not get involved with or marry men who want to play games. Instead, we need to pray fervently for godly husbands who are serious about doing their Father’s business. If a man takes great delight in doing God’s will, he will be an asset and encouragement to you while inspiring you to run your race well for the Lord.

Colossians 4:17b “Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it.”

James 1:22-25 But be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the Word and not a doer, He is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

Quality #6: Pray for the Lord to mold and transform your godly husband of promise into a man who bears the fruit of the Spirit.

In Galatians 5:22-23, the scripture reads: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

Matthew 7:17-19 says, “Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.”

Ladies, I encourage you all to pray alongside me for the Lord to do a mighty work in each of our godly husbands of promise so that their characters will always exhibit the fruit of the Spirit and reflect the heart of God. Let’s pray for godly husbands who are loving, joyful, peaceful, patient, kind, good, faithful, gentle, and self-controlled. Pray also for a godly husband who is forgiving. Please keep in mind that our husbands are human so there will be times when they fall short of this list. But let’s pray and ask God to instill these characteristics in our godly husbands and pray they will maintain these qualities for the most part. You and I must always pray for wisdom and discernment so that we will not enter into a relationship with a man who pretends to possess these qualities, but on the inside, his heart is filled with manipulation, deceit, and dishonesty. Ladies, we must take our time in getting to know someone. Scripture says in Matthew 7:16a, “You will know them by their fruits.” Let’s wait on the Lord for the beautiful, godly, and faithful husbands of integrity He has for each of us. He will give us His very best!!!
