I pray that each of you are doing well and making the most of your summer.

We are officially in our sixth month for our godly husband prayer challenge. Today, July 2️⃣0️⃣th, 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣0️⃣, we will be lifting up qualities 11 and 12 listed below. As mentioned before, the number 2️⃣0️⃣ will be our theme for this prayer challenge. Please choose a timeframe that works best for you (ex: 7:20am, 9:20am, 12:20pm, 3:20pm, 5:20pm, or 8:20pm). And please pray for 2️⃣0️⃣ minutes in total for the qualities listed below in regards to your godly husband (if the Lord has made this promise to you):

Quality #11: Please pray for the Lord to mold your godly husband of promise into a man who maintains a heart of humility.

Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

Ladies, please pray for the Lord to transform your godly husband into a man who maintains a heart of humility. Pray for and desire a man who is humble enough to protect you and will do his best to genuinely care for your well being by placing your needs before his own. Pray for a man who is humble enough to admit when he is wrong and to gently apologize as the Lord leads him. Someone who has a humble heart cares enough to talk things out versus winning the argument. Furthermore, a godly man with humble characteristics will be loving and kind-hearted who views you as a beautiful and unique daughter of the Most High King. Please pray for the Lord to transform your godly husband of promise into a man who reflects the heart of Jesus in humility and gentleness.

Philippians 2:3-4 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interest of others.

Quality #12: Please pray for the Lord to mold your godly husband of promise into a godly man who loves you as Christ loves the church.

Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her.

Ladies, we should strongly desire godly men who will love each of us as Christ loves the church: a godly man who will love us for better or for worse, through the good and bad times, and in sickness and in health. Pray for the Lord to transform your godly husband into a faithful man who will cherish and honor you as his wife until the very end and someone who will lay down his life for you if need be. In addition, please pray for the Lord to mold your godly husband into a man who will stand up for and honor his marriage while loving you as Christ loves the church.

Genesis 2:24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
